Total Quality is excited and proud to announce that we have been awarded certification under GS-42, Green Seal’s standard for commercial cleaning services that helps protect human health and the environment. After a stringent application process and an on-site audit, we are now licensed to provide this Green Seal™ certified service to our customers.
Since 1993, Total Quality has provided the best in janitorial services to the leading property management firms and building owners in the Metropolitan Washington area. Our unpretentious approach to simply “cleaning our buildings” has proven to be the successful factor in our rapid corporate growth and expansion of our impressive client base. At Total Quality, we strive to make cleaning simple, thorough, and environmentally safe for both the tenant and the service worker. This corporate attitude is the basis of our success today, where Total Quality now services over 16 million square feet of commercial and GSA office space.
The “Total Quality Difference” is our mandatory mid-management concentration on each individual property or facility that Total Quality services. Each of our accounts receives direct attentiveness from the area manager, the operations manager, the quality control inspector, as well as the executive staff of Total Quality. While many contractors maintain that the building supervisor is the key to great service, we at Total Quality know that it is really the quality and commitment of an area manager that is assigned to an account that is the key to consistency of that great service. An area manager that meets daily with building supervisors, project managers, and day porter/matrons ensures that the cleaning team assigned to a facility works as a team and is being “managed,” not just “supervised.” Clients have the opportunity to talk with our area managers throughout each week and this builds and strengthens confidence that Total Quality is on-site, getting the job done.

Total Quality is proud to say that after 18 years, we still provide services to our first client. Not only do we maintain the first building we undertook—we now service the entire portfolio for our first client, Royco.
